Recently, with the assistance of the Outpatient Department, the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Pediatric Medical Center organized a public class for parents on the topic of "Family Relationship Adjustment and Mental Health". Dr. Chuanzhao Liu and Dr. Jing Zhang, psychotherapists from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, gave a wonderful lecture to the audience.
This public class starts from the positioning of family members, the adjustment of family relationships, and its impact on children. Based on the five elements of Chinese medicine and the theory of balance of yin and yang, it discusses the role and positioning of each family member and explains how to use the principles of Chinese medicine and psychology to adjust the relationship between family members in order to achieve harmonious coexistence. It also analyzes the positive impact on the children's mental health and growth after the improved adjustment, so that we can learn together how to create a harmonious and healthy environment for the family.
The class was highly spoken by parents, many of whom said that this public class answered many confusions in family relationships, which not only helped to improve the mental health of themselves and their family members, but also set a positive example and create a healthy environment for children to grow up. A father said emotionally, "I used to use my busy schedule as an excuse and neglect my children. In the future, I want to spend more time with my children. As a father, I will take responsibility and give more nourishment to the family."
